HKPGA Order of Merit 2012 – Open Division Leg 6 - Press Release

Playing golf is really the best in cool weather, however there was rain the day before and the

venue was slippery, Hence the rule of Prefer Line was applied but the competition was smoothly completed on September 25 and 26 in Yinli Golf Club. Congratulations to the Champion Tang Man Kee who won 5 out of 6 competitions of the Seniors Division!

There were many participants this time including, seniors division members, ladies division members, tour players and guests players, altogether 36 golfers divided into 2 separate groups and each group has its own trophy and prize money. Three members were just eligible to play the seniors competition who were Man Hung Lap, Chiang Kwok Leung and certified instructor Lee Wing Ming. Man Hung Lap played outstanding in the first round scored 74 who was the joint leader with Tang Man Kee. Nonetheless Tang Man Kee was highly focused in this competition in order to break his best record. So after the second day of the competition, Tang Man Kee played 69 and finished the total score 143 with one under par and won the competition. He could also get the additional bonus established this year. At the prize presentation, Tang Man Kee said that he want to work harder to secure more bonus and get better results in the future. Man Hung Lap was the first-runner-up scored 149. Lau Kwong Hon was the second runner-up scored 150. At the ladies side, Pony Leung played at the 11th place scored 162 even participate in the men's events. And the guests player Jackson Kam was the Champion of the other group scored 155.

Once again, we congratulate to all winners hoping they get better results in the future.
